State Rehabilitation Service
The 140-bed State Rehabilitation Service provides statewide tertiary or specialist level inpatient and outpatient clinical rehabilitation services to people suffering from complex or catastrophic injuries or illnesses such as:
- traumatic brain injury
- spinal cord injury
- stroke (Healthy WA) and other neurological conditions
- orthopaedic conditions
- amputations.
The inclusion of the State Rehabilitation Service at our hospital means that rehabilitation patients have immediate access to other key services, including operating theatres, medical imaging, pathology and pharmacy
