Be breast aware during October

October 6, 2017

During October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, women are encouraged to be ‘breast aware’.

Breast cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in West Australian women aged 40 – 64 years. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is opportunity for us to focus on breast cancer and its impact on those affected by the disease in our community.

Hear from Fiona Stanley Hospital Breast Assessment Clinic and BreastScreen WA (external site) about what to check for, how to get checked and what happens after an abnormal mammogram.
