Andrew, a Fiona Stanley Hospital volunteer, has been waiting patiently to develop the patient garden on Ward B in the State Rehabilitation Service.

With the help of Bunnings O’Connor, Andrew has now completed planting the raised garden beds and it is now ready for patients, visitors and staff to enjoy.

The garden was purposefully built to assist in the rehabilitation of patients on Ward B. The completed garden provides an opportunity for patients, with the support of staff, to assist in maintaining and using the vegetables and herbs in the garden as part of their rehab.

Over the coming months the garden will continue to develop and blossom into an area for patients to socialise and relax.
